problem statement
Buying a piece of furniture can be a very complicated process, and even more so when talking about products for children's rest.
And why is it?
It's due to the rapid growth of children, resulting in the constant rotation of furniture.
For this reason, in this project we developed evolutionary furniture.
Requirements: social responsibility (amortization and sustainability), qualitative (age range and assembly) and finally, aesthetics.
Development of a product that adapts to the 3 evolutionary stages of the child, emphasizing long-term amortization and good environmental impact.

From the curves formed by the inserts, we decided to generate simple pieces with straight lines and rounded curves.
The result achieved was a product that is not attached to a particular trend or aesthetic.
Being a product where the child will be in constant contact, it must be safety to prevent both injuries and jamming.
For this reason, we developed the 3 stages of Darwin based on the current European regulation UNE-EN 716-1:2008.
In turn, rounded edges were integrated into the design to avoid dangerous brims.
Regarding the joints, it was decided to use M6 screws and inserts for a better union and firmness in the structure. These are inserted in an ecological water resin butterfly.
